North Gaia EC sees 3,700 visitors on preview weekend

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) – The very first executive condominium (EC) of 2022, North Gaia, opened its sales gallery and showflats for public sneak peek last weekend. The sales gallery at Canberra Link drew about 2,000 people by the close of Saturday, and one more 1,700 on Sunday. This brings the tally of visitors over the end ofthe week of April 9-10 to 3,700.

Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex does not see the solid turnover as “return home buying” following the easing of constraints. “We knew this was going to be the hottest-selling venture of 2022,” he claims. “With the most recent EC land proposals going across $660 psf per plot ratio, the approaching jobs will certainly be launched at higher prices. We thus look forward to strong interest due to stifled demand for ECs.”

” The last time we saw such groups was 3 years earlier in the pre-Covid age,” says Doris Ong, deputy CEO of period Singapore. “A lot of individuals have not gone to showflats in a long period of time,” she adds.

The loosening of risk-free monitoring procedures for developers’ sales galleries has allowed more possible customers to see the showflats. At North Gaia, watchings were still conducted by-appointment solely. This was done to make certain the safety and security of guests, claims Sharlin Tan, head of advertising and marketing as well as sales at Sing Holdings. “Seeing visits were established at numerous intervals to offer us time to sanitise the sales gallery,” she explains.

The easing of the risk-free management steps permitting a best capacity of 1,000 viewers in a developer’s job sales gallery was “timely”, marks Ken Low, managing partner of SRI. “It deals with the rising demand for EC as well as the solid features of North Gaia,” he claims.

Minimal supply is one more factor, with less than 15 units left unsold from the existing supply, mentions Gafoor. There are only 2 EC properties that have remnant units offer for sale. The 413-unit Provence Home at Canberra Crescent, which was introduced in May last year, has just three unsold units. At Parc Greenwich on Fernvale Lane in Seletar Hills, just 10 of the 496 units in the EC project remain unsold.

The 616-unit North Gaia at Yishun Close opened for e-application on April 7, as well as will be released for sale on April 23. “We are very encouraged by the strong rate of interest in our job,” comments Lee Sze Hao, Chief Executive Officer of Sing Holdings, the property developer of North Gaia.

Like Provence Residence as well as Parc Greenwich, North Gaia is located in the northern region. What’s even more, the last new launch of an EC task in Yishun remained in 2015, claims Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia. “Buyers are consequently eager to see what the initial EC launch in 2022 is providing,” he includes.
